Fine Homebuilding Magazine Issue No. 146, was in May 2002 an excellent article on concrete countertops. and Taunton Press published a book on the topic. Two publications, a list of sources for such things as strengthening fibers, dyes and pigments, plasticizers, water reducers, as well as detailed instructions and recipes for mixing.
